Washington trip

We had a great time visiting family in Washington. What a gorgeous state! Here's a pic of Kaleb at LAX waiting for his first flight. I didn't know how he was going to react to 3 hours on a plane, but I was happy that he did just fine. He kept busy smiling at the flight attendants and passengers behind us, and played with lot's of toys. Then he fell asleep half way there and didn't wake up till we landed. It was great!

We were lucky enough to have the next seat empty, so I had plenty of room to nurse him.
He was so precious sleeping on my lap, my legs ended up going numb though after awhile! On our way off the plane the flight attendant gave Kaleb a set of wings for me to put in his babybook.
Our first stop was in Seattle to visit my Uncle's family. He has a house on a lake with a gorgeous view!! We met up with Jarom, who was already there for business. It was nice of my uncle to let us stay at their house. We had a great time catching up with them and even got to hang out with my other Aunt and her family for a little while. Here's a view from their kithchen windows.

After Seattle we took another plane trip to Spokane to visit my Grandma, and Mom & Dad. Kaleb loved visiting with his great-grandma. It was so cute to see him laugh as she played with him.

Kaleb also enjoyed hanging out with his Grandma Rose. Here we are in the backyard having a family bbq. I loved this picture of Kaleb wrapped in a blanket and sitting on my mom's lap.

We also had the chance to visit my younger bro Jake, his wife Betsy, and their son Gabriel. They are expecting their second child soon, congrats guys!

Here's the cousins after meeting for the first time. Gabriel is such a sweetie! He was very interested in playing with Kaleb, and kept wanting to use him to push off of in order to stand up.

One night we went to see Indiana Jones with the family. I hated the part with the man-eating ants, yikes!!! Here's a four generation shot of us after going to Cat tails zoo. It's a really tiny zoo that has all kinds of wild cats. I loved seeing the white tigers, I just think they're so exotic looking. There were also some cute baby tigers there. I felt kindove bad for the animals though. This was definately no San Diego zoo, and the cages were pretty small for such large cats.

All in all it was a fun trip!
